White Ribbon Alliance Malawi is a locally registered civil society umbrella organization advancing reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH). WRA is driven by a deep passion and commitment to reducing maternal and newborn deaths, protecting the reproductive rights of girls and women, realizing human rights for the marginalized and those discriminated against, amplifying citizen voices and creating demand for quality, safe and accessible healthcare for all.
WRASM has been implementing various developmental programs since its inception in 2002 and has a membership base of registered partners in every district in Malawi. WRASM Malawi leverages the power of a diverse membership to amplify the needs of citizens across sectors for greater change. The membership of WRASM Malawi consists of civil society and community-based organizations, health professional associations, academia, media, politicians, faith-based groups, traditional leaders, and local government officials.
